| In 1882 he attended
the University of Berlin. Must abandon the option for financial reasons
when died his father. In 1884 he files a patent application
"Elektrisches Teleskop" (electric telescope) and obtains patents
tele-vision. After his military
service provided Nipkow works at Zimmermann-Buchloh, Borsigwalde as
designer of safety devices for footwear and this company will be
promoted to Chief Engineer. In 1919 you retired early and
devotes all his time to perfecting the disc he patented. In
1930 Siemens & Halske Berlin acquires its patent on the
synchronization of 1924. The model Nipkow until the advent of
